Momar, Inc., a specialty chemical manufacturing firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently searching for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our MinTech Division as an Industrial Chemical Salesperson. The MinTech Division specializes in innovative problem-solving, serving diverse markets including mining, oil and gas, coal generation plants, agriculture, firefighting, steel, and wastewater treatment facilities. Our primary chemistries cover a wide spectrum, including dust control, erosion control, deicers and antifreeze, industrial coatings, flow aids, firefighting agents, spontaneous combustion inhibitors, wastewater treatment, fuel additives, lubricants, and greases.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sell and represent industrial chemical programs, products, and services across diverse industries.
- Develop and expand the territory, targeting markets requiring industrial chemical programs.
- Plan, generate leads, schedule appointments, meet with potential and existing customers.
- Present programs, products, and services, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Handle objections, close sales, and set up and demonstrate programs.
- Generate purchase orders, maintain customer relationships, and achieve sales growth goals.
- Create and maintain potential customer lists.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to track sales performance and call frequency.
- Write proposals for potential and existing customers.
- Verify equipment and program performance at customer sites.
- Conduct visual checks, perform hands-on maintenance as needed (e.g., pipe, hose, and pump repairs).
- Ensure systems are functioning correctly and provide performance demonstrations for customers.
- Present other Momar products and programs to existing accounts.
- Collaborate with the team for teamwork selling to assist in closing sales.
- Provide regular reporting to management, demonstrating pipelines, sales trends, forecasting, and projections.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in industrial chemical sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel, with an average of 20% to 50%, totaling approximately 20-50 nights a year depending on the sales territory.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and/or geoscience.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in an industrial setting such as coal mining, power utilities, mining chemicals, water treatment chemicals, or similar applications
Physical Requirements: Heavy
- The ability to lift and/or carry at least 55 pounds unassisted.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear, as needed.
- Frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear.
