Position Title: Global Strategic Marketing Analyst – Performance Additives Position Summary: In this role, you will support strategic inorganic growth projects aligned with the strategy gap analysis for the respective business segments. You will build, analyze and present the business case on the potential prospects, manage project communications, and partner with the Corporate Strategy Leader to facilitate conversations with strategic targets from the contact establishment stage to deal closure. This role also requires partnership with R&D and Marketing teams to support the innovation pipeline by building strong desirability concepts for key New Product Introduction programs “NPI” that will solve unmet needs and improve NPI vitality. You will conduct research analysis that leads to market segmentation and overall sales productivity support and share strategic marketing “EXM” best practices across Momentive. Job Description: Inorganic growth Develop a strategic business development framework for the business segments. Build, analyze and present a business case on the potential prospects. Manage the project, and communications and facilitate the conversations with strategic targets from the contact establishment stage to deal closure. Work with the Corporate Strategy Team and Segment Leaders on the framework and build a strong inorganic growth pipeline i.e. M&A, BD aligned to business segment strategy. Utilize process rigor and strong project management skills to achieve results. Support innovation pipeline and segment growth through strategic marketing Partner with R&D and Mkt teams to cement a strong Desirability-Feasibility-Viability (DFV) case and leverage EXM methodologies and capabilities in refining our NPI pipeline. Partner with the R&D team with a framework to build a strong desirability concept for products/solutions (NPI) to solve unmet needs and improve the NPI Vitality Index to industry standards. Partner with the Marketing team on package creation support to develop targeted value propositions for high-priority NPIs and enable NPI sales targets. Work closely with the global Marcomm team in establishing a strong market launch package for high-priority NPIs and enable NPI sales targets. Conduct research analysis that leads to market segmentation and overall sales productivity support. Challenge business teams to identify critical assumptions and risks, and to expand their scope and thinking to develop optimal growth strategies. Continually explore, develop, and share strategic marketing and product line strategy best practices across Momentive. Support the Performance Additive business president in creating engaging marketing & strategic materials through PowerPoint presentations for the Board of Directors, our Executive Leadership Team, and all-employee calls. Additional Details: Minimum Qualifications MBA in business or marketing Minimum Internship experience in Strategic Marketing and or Corporate Strategy, ie Corporate Marketing, Strategic Planning & Implementation, New Product Innovation, Market Research, Business Development Excellent communication skills – demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment Excellent Systems knowledge such as; SAP, Project Management, Salesforce, MS Excel Extraordinary MS PowerPoint presentation skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
