Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for receiving and delivering raw material. Position will provide ongoing support to product distribution channel.
Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
- Responsible for receiving raw material by entering transactions into ERP system and delivering material to staging areas.
- Responsible for compiling and staging kits for assembly lines.
- Responsible for transferring scrap material to the scrap bins as required.
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout all work areas.
- Assist in weekly/monthly/quarterly cycle counts.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Work closely with all departments in a manner that supports the business and encourages and builds a positive relationship.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
- Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance.
- Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Conform to all quality and safety procedures.
- Required to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
Education, Experience and/or Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Requires basic computer skills.
- Experience in ERP/MRP computer system a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
- Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity.
- Effective time management.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility
- Regularly operates a computer, computer accessories and phone equipment
