An innovative biotech company is looking find a candidate with some Viral Vector Experience to join their team. The company recently received several million dollars in funding, allowing them to rapidly expand their pipelines. This company is dedicated to the development of antibody therapies for autoimmune diseases. This opportunity offers competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a diverse and exciting company culture. With the recent funding, candidates will be getting in at a very exciting start up with the ability to grow and prosper from day one. The ideal candidate is scientifically independent and accustomed to taking initiative, with emphasis on the development of production cell lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Characterize AAV vectors using molecular, cellular, and other techniques and assist in vector engineering and process development
  • Evaluate and develop new cell biology, molecular biology, or equipment technologies to improve productivity, product quality, and shorten timelines
  • Designing and execute lab-based experiments, generate and interpret data supporting the successful development of new assays and tests
  • Contributing to the productivity of the group through a collaborative and flexible mindset driving the exchange of ideas

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology or in a related field.
  • Relevant experience with Flow cytometry from industry or academia.
  • Experience with AAV/Viral Vectors preferred
  • 1 years of research experience.
