Job Summary
Performs cardiovascular and pulmonary assessment and care in the provision of inpatient and outpatient pulmonary Rehabilitation, and performs associated diagnostic testing as noted in the departmental scope of care. Recognizes, and assists with, appropriate actions in emergency situations. Contributes specialty expertise in the development of policies, procedures and Respiratory Care standards. Contributes to the educational process for patients, cardiopulmonary staff and self.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement : Graduate of AMA approved program in Respiratory Care.
Minimum Experience Requirement : Two (2) years' experience in respiratory care. Two (2) years pulmonary rehabilitation experience preferred. Must demonstrate the knowledge and capability to educate patients and families in the areas pulmonary disease.
Minimum License Requirement : Registered therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care; West Virginia Society Respiratory Care license required. BCLS required.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Medium Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs.

Schedule: Full Time, Days, Mon-Fri
