Job Summary
 
The teacher develops and implements a learning curriculum in accordance with child care center philosophies and policies, incorporating various teaching styles and methods to ensure physical, emotional, social and mental development of each individual child.
 

 

Job Requirements
 

 

a. Minimum Education Requirement : Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.

b. Minimum Experience Requirement : Preferred experience with preschool children and age-appropriate activity planning; experience normally acquired through previous work experience in a child care setting. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in order to conduct successful conferencing and interactions with parents, provide leadership and guidance to Assistant Teachers, to communicate with and instruct children in a positive and competent manner, and to interact appropriately with outside agencies, as needed.

c. Minimum License Requirement :
 

 

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
 
Medium Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs.
