Leasing Agent, Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)

The Apartment Leasing Agent is responsible for promoting and leasing rental properties to prospective tenants. This role involves a combination of sales, customer service, and administrative responsibilities. The agent should be knowledgeable about the property, the community, and leasing policies. Fluency in English and Spanish is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Marketing:Advertise available properties using various media and advertising techniques.
Create and distribute promotional materials.
Conduct market research to set competitive rental prices.

Tenant Relations:Communicate effectively with potential and current tenants.
Conduct property tours for prospective tenants.
Address tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Leasing and Administrative Duties:Screen potential tenants, including conducting credit and background checks.
Negotiate lease terms and conditions.
Prepare and execute leasing agreements.
Collect rental applications, security deposits, and rent payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant interactions, leases, and payments.

Property Maintenance Coordination:Coordinate with maintenance staff or contractors to address repair and upkeep issues.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
Ensure compliance with housing regulations and property standards.

Customer Service and Retention:Provide excellent customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
Resolve tenant issues and complaints effectively.
Organize tenant events or community engagement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or real estate is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in office software and property management tools.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.

Working Conditions:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
