Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Conduct quantitative research and analysis to support business decisions
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Solid understanding of business analysis and forecasting techniques
- Familiarity with corporate finance principles
- Strong mathematical aptitude with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Quick Books
