Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

Moneycorp is looking for a high-impact Supply Chain / Financial Networks Manager to manage the growth, health and innovation of its global financial networks. Reporting to the Global Head of Financial Networks, the Financial Networks Manager will utilise their deep, global payments expertise and be both operationally and financially savvy to negotiate on a variety of commercial contracts successfully. You will also be strategist and an operator who can take ownership, while being supported by the Global Head of Financial Networks, and steer Moneycorp’s global financial networks, considering the needs and driving the success of the wider group strategy.

The Supply Chain / Financial Networks Manager will also be responsible for building, engaging with and managing networks that enable Moneycorp’s product and payments ecosystem to continue its geographic expansion, and executing high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across new strategic directions and product offerings.

Positioned in Europe or the US but with a global presence, the role will be responsible for the global supply chain. The role will have direct relationships with every global CEO and key business functions including Treasury, Finance, Operations, Global Compliance, Tech and Engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is comfortable working at pace, enjoys working on a variety of initiatives and seeks to develop in a high growth business/industry. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate expert organisational and communication skills, is a self-starter and innovative in thought.

 

What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role

  • Previous experience in the international payments/fintech industry would be advantageous.
  • Proven talent closing relationships and growing a business including contract negotiation is essential.
  • Successful track record in engaging with, developing, submitting and negotiating proposals for different financial intuitions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience working with different cultures.
  • Articulate and very comfortable in communicating the strategy of Moneycorp to the banks, ensuring the brand is being perceived in the right way by large institutions.
  • Expertise and internal knowledge of the processes a bank goes through in terms of risk sign-off, risk committees and timescales.
  • Able to demonstrate robust leadership, cross-cultural influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in ensuring leadership is aligned with global and regional strategies, working across the organisation to transform top company goals into network strategies and programmes.
  • A strong understanding of the payments industry, card acquiring and or issuing experience, and familiarity with its ecosystem (partners, processors, etc.) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of financial, payments and consumer regulation, including card association, payment network rules, laws applicable to acquiring, payouts, and KYC, KYP, BSA/AML regulations is diserable.
  • Deep understanding of the geographical nuances of each of Moneycorps’s core markets (UK, EU, US & Brazil).
  • Ability to clearly outline strategy and communicate to internal stakeholders.
  • Deep commitment to Moneycorp’s core values and ability to model those values in relationships with partners.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent contract position. The job is expected to be office-based in Providence or Orlando as part of the Operations and Financial Network team. However we are open to flexible work arrangements including remote working.
