What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copywriter/Content Specialist position at Monin?
We’re seeking someone who has a proven ability to distill lengthy information into digestible communication for professional B2B (primary) and B2C audiences and has the ability to adapt a key message across multiple mediums. This candidate should be able to develop engaging and relevant content all while adhering to brand standards and the corporate voice and tone. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and will work closely and collaborate cross-functionally with designers, account managers, digital strategists, content & SEO strategists, and the product marketing team. The copywriter will help establish a consistent brand narrative across our entire marketing communications ecosystem.
Essential Responsibilities
- Writes compelling copy across all marketing channels, including website copy, email campaigns, social, blog posts, video scripts, digital and print ads, and packaging
- Serves as one of the primary content curators for company Intranet
- Edits and proofreads all copy before it goes live
- Develops and maintains the Monin brand voice and tone
- Works on multiple projects at once and excels at project management
- Collaborates with colleagues from other departments to help them hit their marketing goals
- Champion web copy effectiveness and actively advocate for content quality
Job Requirements
- 4 years of copywriting experience and a strong portfolio
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and meets tight deadlines
- Ability to think big while operating at the lowest level of detail
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or similar preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of B2B content marketing fundamentals (lead generation, buyer journeys, audience personas, funnel stages, etc.)
- B2B and B2C writing experience across a wide range of formats, both short and long form.
- Can follow and maintain writing guidelines and tone of voice standards.
- Capable of effectively managing multiple, concurrent projects, and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize workload with excellent time management skills.
