Surgical Coordinator/Prior Authorization Specialist

Obtain authorizations for prescriptions, diagnostic imaging, procedures and surgeries in a timely manner

Schedule surgeries - obtain signed consents from patients in a timely manner

Complete and send booking sheets to surgery center/hospital in a timely manner

Ensure that all necessary equipment for use during the surgery/procedure will be at surgery center/hospital

Discuss pre-operative requirements with patients (and any necessary follow up prior to surgery/procedure

Check in with patient after procedure to see how they're feeling and to schedule post op appointment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour

Experience:

  • Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Ocean, NJ 07712: Relocate before starting work (Required)
