Your Role:
People Make the Difference at Monolith. The People Operations Specialist will enhance employee experience, as a part of the HR team, specifically at our Manufacturing site in Hallam, Nebraska. People Operations Specialist at OC1 will support and oversee onsite onboarding & training sessions, training record management, recruitment support and retention activities.
You will:
Support training & recruitment
- Facilitate the onboarding experience for new hires, at our manufacturing site, facilitation of on-site trainings and orientation sessions and logistical management of the experience
- Maintain impeccable training rosters and files during onboarding and the tenure of employment. Work closely with people leaders to create and facilitate trainings.
- Support our talent acquisition team by greeting and managing the interview process on behalf of the offsite Recruiter. Answer candidate questions about Monolith and the manufacturing site. Set candidates up with virtual interview links.
Provide employee support
- Be an accessible resource for manufacturing site team members on HR needs like benefits, work schedules, grievances and concerns, parental and other leave plans
- Assist in implementation and execution of human resource policies
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Work independently, anticipating needs to support effective workflow of the Monolith team
Encourage employee engagement
- Rounding with team members
- Drive consistency and thoroughness in our communication at OC1
- Coordinate, plan, and support company and team events, offsite events, corporate wellness, holiday and office parties, volunteering, etc.
- Champion and embody our culture as the source and SME of all things Monolith our team engaged and ensuring our workspaces are presentable for our internal team as well as external guests and visitors

You have:
- Bachelor’s degree, and
- Two to four years of experience in human resources, ideally in an industrial setting or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role is located at Monolith’s manufacturing site in Hallam, Nebraska
Travel
Minimal travel required, except for team meetings and events in Lincoln and other surrounding areas.
