Your Role:
Our Automation, Electrical and Instrumentation (AEI) Manager is responsible for coordinating a team of AEI professionals in performance of daily automation programming, electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities.
You Will:
- Day-to-day supervision and development of AEI employees (coaching, etc.)
- Review, monitor and follow-up on AEI/department results. This includes supporting management of department(s) costs to remain within budget guidelines, using RCA Techniques to improve processes.
- Identify areas in need of improvement & reliability.
- Provide training to AEI Team or Depts. on projects, etc.; Ownership of electrical & instrumentation execution, in partnership with Technical Core Technology guidance.
- Champion continuous improvement.
- Coordinate troubleshooting with Core Technology team.
- Champion management of change for AEI improvements/projects as well as coordinate SME’s for capital and expense projects.
- Work collaboratively with design engineers, process engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff.
- Understand and ensure compliance with safe electrical work practices
- Write and update testing and predictive/preventative AEI procedures
- Design and implement cost-effective electrical systems to improve safety and reliability
- Produce details of specifications and outline designs.
- Monitor status, performance, and health of critical AEI systems-create and monitor AEI key performance indicators
- Analyze data and present findings in written reports
- Perform other duties as needed

You Have
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering plus 10 years industrial experience
- Automation experience (Distributive Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface systems.
- Emerson Delta V and AMS experience
- Ability to read, update and troubleshoot from electrical schematics, P&IDs, layout, equipment arrangement, 3D Model, etc.
- Knowledge of predictive technologies (i.e. infrared, motor circuit evaluation)
- Instrument experience (Temperature, Flow, gas analyzers, control valves)
- Basic understanding of National Electric Code (NEC), IEC standards and ISA standards
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Experience working with variable frequency drives, soft starters, Uninterruptible power supply (UPS), Low voltage and medium voltage transformers, heat trace, grounding etc.
- Experience in data analysis, project detail design, and electrical safety
Work Environment
This positions work will take place in an industrial work environment located in Hallam, NE. Must be able to answer after hours calls for plant support.
Nebraska residency required.
Travel
Minimal travel will be required for this position.
