Turnaround Coordinators serve as the subject matter experts and support the development of execution work packages, identifying the risks on time, cost, scope and also recommending corrective or improvement actions. This role also monitors the pre, execution and post turnaround work, as well as updates, coordinates and communicates progress and schedule to all active parties.

 

As a Turnaround Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the front-end outage work at the OC1 facility in Hallam. This person coordinates and directs the safe execution of the turnaround efforts, and will be required to interface and work in collaboration with contractors, operations, maintenance, engineering and project departments.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Scheduler in a chemical industry or other industrial manufacturing environment, or an Associates Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

 

What you'll do in the role:

  • Work with the Scheduler for the development of schedules, and work to achieve and clear any obstacles for critical path tasks
  • Schedule maintenance downtime, and communicate cross functionally with technical and management teams
  • Facilitate daily/weekly scheduling and/or progress meetings
  • Assist in controlling turnaround expenses and implementing/suggesting cost savings opportunities
  • Use Document Management System and Change Control procedures proficiently

Your environment:

This role will work onsite at our OC1 plant in Hallam. The work will be done in an office and industrial environment.
