Development Operations Engineer
Overview:
The IT DevOps Engineer, will join a dynamic and growing Global IT organization located in Kirkland, Washington with global support responsibilities particularly in Asia Pacific. Located in Kirkland, WA, the IT DevOps Engineer will be responsible to carry out automation and optimization tasks to better upkeep all IT Infrastructure systems and services both in-house and in cloud.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with configuration tools in Linux - Terraform, Ansible to implement monitoring, alerting and reporting in the hybrid cloud infrastructure to upkeep and improve IT Infrastructure robustness and performance.
- Constantly evaluate new IT Infrastructure automation and monitoring tools to help adopt the right ones to better manage the production services and meet the IT Infrastructure SLA requirements
- Maintain and improve code analysis, build, documentation, and release tools
- Closely work with IT System Engineers for Servers, Network, Storage and IT Security Engineers, to identify, plan, execute and manage IT Infrastructure Automation tasks well.
- Integrate code analysis and quality metrics tools to provide unified and timely monitoring and alerts on IT Infrastructure performance to related IT staff.
- Customize our continuous integration system to work with a growing team
- Improve integration between version control, build and incident tracking tools
- Collaborate with the team to improve overall build process reliability and scalability
- Upgrade, maintain current production deployment systems
- Provide ongoing support, needed documentation for the code development lifecycle
- Solve complex technical issues involving multiple technology stacks
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Git, continuous integration, and multiplatform development environments, strong knowledge of secure source control management
- Familiar with static analysis and code coverage tools
- Dedicated to optimizing full cycle engineering development pipelines
- 2 years of Azure experience
- 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining build tools and processes for engineering teams of 15 or more, preferably in IT Infrastructure automation and support environment.
- Experience with developing, operating, and maintaining critical workloads
- Experience with IT Infrastructure systems in Servers, Network and Storage systems and cloud technologies, cloud infrastructure and applications
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code methods and technologies
- Experience with compute including server, container, and serverless
- Experience with CI/CD and other automation
- Experience collaborating across multiple functions and teams
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $120,000 - $155,000.
Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $114,000 - $147,000.
