What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar Assistant- Part Time position at Monroe College?

Overview of the Position:

· Support the Office of the Registrar to ensure that students are served well and records are appropriately filed/archived for Student Record Integrity.

Core Responsibilities:

· Assist with phone traffic to ensure that students are served in timely and an effective manner

· Scan and archive student records

· Assist Registrar Office Manager with student letter requests

· Ability to collaborate and work effectively with administration, staff, students, and other constituents

Qualifications: (only for employment postings)

· Bachelor’s degree and at least one year working in higher education

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evenings as needed
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Bronx, NY 10468 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Bronx, NY 10468: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
