Monroe Group is looking for a Community Manager to join our team!
We are seeking a Community Manager who can manage our affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8)/ LIHTC community. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in PBS8, is marketing savvy and proficient in both MS Office (Word, Excel) and Property Management-related software. The Details: Our Community Managers are fully accountable and responsible for providing overall supervision of the community. Overseeing and enhancing the value of the property, and ensuring the property team is positive and successful. Specific duties include:
- Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
- Developing and managing the budget
- Ensuring property is meeting KPI Goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset and Budget Management
- Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
- Ensuring that site teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all our residents
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Additional Information:
- The work schedule is Monday-Friday (occasional weekends and evening as needed)***

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS for consideration are:
- High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree is preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) years as Community Manager
- Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
- English language proficiency (read, speak and write)
- The ability to pass a full background check
Additional preferred requirements for Affordable Housing properties: Strong experience in affordable housing programs. Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections. Experience with resident occupied project renovations.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 1 year of Property Management experience in a managerial role
- Must have working knowledge of affordable housing programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of Property Management experience in a managerial role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
