What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consultant Liaison - PMHNP - Emergency Department position at Monroe & Weisbrod?
Our emergency unit is looking for a PMHNP to join our team! In this role you consult on psychiatric patients coming through the ED. The psychiatrist will typically see about 2-8 consults per shift. You will play a critical role in helping our practice achieve our mission of providing exceptional care for patients dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental illnesses.
At our clinic, you will:
- Establish a trusted relationship with patients.
- Work directly with patients to provide the best clinical experience possible.
- Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Develop a working relationship with the administrative and medical staff.
- Proactively establish and implement a care plan.
- Engage with the Medical Directorship on patient care, and goals.

- Demonstrated ability to work with patients on an effective care plan.
- Thrives in a multitasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and analytical.
