Job Description :
Under the leadership of the Retail Services Manager, the Retail Services clerk is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing merchandise for retail services operations, including a hospital gift shop.
The position is also responsible for general clerical support within the department.
Important dimensions of this position consist of quality work, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public / customer relations and clerical knowledge.
The most important skill of this position is to collaborate with, guide, train, and support volunteers working in the gift shop or retail services on a daily basis.
Experience
Customer service experience and general clerical skills; experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system, Microsoft Office suite, and Quickbooks;
Education
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.
Assigned Work Hours :
M-F 8am-4 : 30pm - seasonal holiday hours, as needed
