Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provides support and input in organization efforts required in implementation, deployment and support of systems to meet the business requirements for the organization. Participates in analysis and recommendations related to the redesign of business processes, while ensuring operational efficiencies and excellence. Understands and documents the company’s direction including the design and implementation of workflows, training and provides end user support. Acting as part of a liaison team between internal customers and EIT departments.
Job Responsibilities
1. Participates in business process review and re-engineering efforts to enhance business processes.
2. Participates in efforts to collect, analyze and continually improve processes.
3. Participates in interviews and analysis in order to create business cases for projects as needed.
4. Participates and assists in the administration and coordination activity associated with the supported systems.
5. Participates and assist in activities related to the integrity of system data and usage.
6. Participates and/or assists in troubleshooting as needed.
7. Participates and assists BA team, users and EIT on maintenance, enhancement tasks and/or as part of a team on such activities.
8. Performs task and participate in system test plans; the preparation of test plans, test data and documentation. Performs required testing to ensure the system functions in accordance with the business requirements and technical design. Identify and document deficiencies.
9. Participates in project administration and control tasks.
10. Develops and/or delivers training and support for end users.
11. Monitors and keeps abreast of new technologies.
12. Assists with onboarding new system users and managing security access.
13. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Business Analyst II in addition to the above job responsibilities:
15. Participates and assists in processes and tasks related to configuring systems that serve the business process within the parameters technology allows and is designed.
16. Conducts, participates and/or assists in troubleshooting of performance degradation, analyzing error files and diagnosing problems users may have as it relates to the configuration and users.
17. Performs task and participate in system test plans; the preparation of test plans, test data and documentation. Performs and monitors required testing to ensure the system functions in accordance with the business requirements and technical design. Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
18. Participates and assists BA team, users and EIT on maintenance, enhancement tasks and/or as part of a team on such activities.
19. Review and document requested modification to existing new business processes and system applications. Assist senior staff members or project leads in the feasibility and cost effectiveness of proposed enhancements as needed or requested.
20. Participates in efforts to collect, analyze and continually improve processes.
21. Participates in creating business specifications and acts as business liaison through all phases of the project life. Participates in project administration and control tasks.

- Must possess knowledge of business systems and processes at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems or related business experience.
Business Analyst II:
- Must possess knowledge of business systems and processes at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems or related business experience.
- Good written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills; Effective team and communications skills

- Previous experience in an IT, system or business support role
- Good working knowledge of utility, energy, pipeline, or natural gas regulations and compliance requirements
Business Analyst II:
- Previous experience in an IT, system or business support role
- Good working knowledge of utility, energy, pipeline, or natural gas regulations and compliance requirements
- Two years’ experience in utility, energy, pipeline or natural gas business practices
- Must have access to adequate high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 20 Mpbs, to ensure reliable, consistent connection to the company’s network without interruptions in customer service.
- Able to provide a safe, ergonomic, quiet, and distraction-free home office work space.
- Ability to work in an individual environment with remote support and without regular or consistent in person interaction.
- Comfortable corresponding via phone and video for team interaction and development.
- A department may have additional requirements that must be followed by an employee, in addition to Company wide requirements.
