Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Responsible for leading the scheduling function receiving and delivering natural gas across various counterparty facilities. Manages operational balancing agreements and maintains accurate transactional data.
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, accounting, or business administration; and
- Three years of energy marketing, scheduling, control, or trading/purchasing experience.
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Requires minimal travel (up to 10%).
- Prior experience in a leadership role.
- Experience with and understanding of regulatory agencies.
- Proven success negotiating contracts
- Supervise, direct, train, mentor, and assist Gas Systems Coordinators in daily and monthly scheduling tasks including nominating, confirming, and balancing.
- Responsible for establishing and assigning work activities and work schedules for Gas Systems Coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with department and company policies and procedures.
- Setup monthly scheduling plan and communicate necessary strategies to Gas Systems Coordinators.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
