- ONSITE in Helena, Montana.
The Business Analyst develops the application code, testing, accomplishing data conversion, and conducting user training; works with partners to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to complex data management processes; conducts research into and propose technical solutions; and responds to requests for information and recommendations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts.
- Knowledge of IT applications, security, concepts, and operations; IT systems development, enhancement, and maintenance; systems analysis, design, testing; telecommunications and information systems networking; customer service standards; data management products; data structures and interrelationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate to varied audiences and knowledge levels.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish strong, cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to solicit input from others, analyze issues and problems, and recommend business process improvements for the improvement of the organization/individual based on situational variables.
- Ability to follow through to implement selected processes and respond to changing conditions to find workable solutions.
This is a modified position, funded through a grant and will be evaluated periodically for funding throughout the life of the project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- One year of experience as a business analyst or related work.
- Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.
