Job Description / Who we are looking for:
We are a growing transportation company with four Suffolk County locations, we are seeking an office associate to join our growing team.
Provides general clerical support to the dispatch department as required, including but not limited to preparation of documentations, answering telephone calls, faxing, photocopying.. Assists in preparing and submitting weekly time-sheets for payroll. Provide reception coverage for breaks and support when necessary. Assisting with maintaining all required records as well as policies and procedures.
- Coordinates or arranges for vehicles, drivers and driver assistants to properly follow bus schedules.
- Coordinate and implement bus schedules.
- Assist in dispatching buses to assigned bus pick-up points.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, parents, and school staff members.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Customer Service, 1 year (Preferred)
- High school Diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong phone skills
- Professionalism
- Ability to multi-task
- Prioritize and manage time effectively
- Organization skills
- Punctual
- Knowledge of basic computer software
- Dispatching experience a plus
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows)·
- Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
