Armed Security Officer (Part-Time) USGS, Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) - Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Montech Inc. is currently seeking a part-time (with the potential for future full-time employment). Armed Security Officer to be located at the Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, SD. This position will obtain the responsibility and duty of maintaining the safety and protection of EROS Government facilities and personnel to include, but not limit: patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points and permitting entry.
Total Compensation: $20.92 per hour, plus shift differentials for swing shift and night shift.
Place of Performance
The Security Officer will provide support at the USGS, Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Hours of Operation for Position
Part-Time employee will be open to work days, evenings, and overnight shifts and can be utilized with short notice to fill shifts. Future potential to become full-time.
Qualifications*
Security Officers must meet the following requirements:
- 21 years of age or older with valid license
Must Complete:
- Background check (criminal/financial)
- Physical
- Drug screen
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification (issued)
- Weapons qualification course
*DISQUALIFICATION DUE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Preferred Qualifications:
- Conceal and carry permit
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.27 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
