What Youll Do at Monteith Construction
The purpose of this newly established position is to deliver best-in-class service to clients with buildings already in operation. Additionally, you will work to support project teams that are in the finishing punch list stage of the project.
You will be the main point of contact for all Punchlist or Warranty items for Monteith Construction. You will be responsible for all aspects of the warranty program, utilizing a cross-functional leadership style and working closely with internal teams and our partners. Below, you will find some of the duties that you will perform as our Punchlist and Warranty Manager.
- Oversee and provide support for the warranty claims process, from initiation to closeout.
- Ensure all punch list items are completed for Project Closeout.
- Oversee the warranty claims reporting by creating and maintaining a database of all claims.
- Conduct all Owner walkthroughs in preparation for project turnover.
- Complete all Warranty items. Address all warranty issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, through timely and efficient resolution.
- Ensure Quality Control compliance to Building Codes and regulatory rules, scopes of work, specifications, product approvals, and company standards.
Experience You Should Have:
- Installation, or design background with strong customer service experience- there will be both hands-on and trade partner management of punch list items
- 3 years of experience in construction with an eye for detail
- Ability to work non-traditional hours
- Excellent organizational, Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with construction management software (Procore), a plus but not required
- Ability to travel across all four offices when necessary (Wilmington, Raleigh, Charleston, Myrtle Beach)
