POSITION SUMMARY: The main job of a Purchasing Clerk is to create and maintain meaningful liaison with vendors so as to assure constant procurement of supplies. The Purchasing Clerk the activities involved with procuring goods and services for the facility, and confers with production managers to determine the amount and types of materials needed for a project and ensure that they are delivered to the department or unit in a timely fashion.
