ABOUT THE ROLE: The role of this position is to utilize all tools and equipment required to prepare and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner, with primary focus on customer satisfaction.
Shipper $15.75 to $18.00/hr

Location: Princeton, IL 145MIL
Reports To: Packing Supervisor
Work Schedule: 4 days on, 2 days off
Position Type: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Hourly non-exempt
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and organize finished goods warehouse and inventories; assemble orders for delivery.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; load outbound product orders; unload raw material receiving.

Unload product, palletize the boxes, and strap stacked pallets.
Enter packing and inventory transactions into the computer; generate labels.
Communicate with cooler attendants, packing, sales, distribution and customer drivers.
Maintain load sheet for each pallet and record temperatures
In the absence of Shipping Lead or Foreperson, use the daily checklist provided to maximize efficiencies in the Shipping Department.
Inspect daily pallet jacks and forklifts for serviceability; check and maintain batteries.
Perform all requirements of sanitation HACCP and GMP standards including hairnet, beard net, and personal hygiene policies. Special clothing may be required from time to time for sanitation purposes.
Observe and practice safety procedures at all times. Be safety conscious. Correct or notify supervisor of safety hazards. In the event of an accident, notify supervisor immediately. Attend Safety Meeting
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- The ability to read, write and perform simple math
- Good manual dexterity, vision and hearing
- Ability to pass forklift certification exam, if required
- Ability to use manual or electric pallet jack
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent desired
- On-the-Job Training provided
