We are currently looking for a NY State Certified Montessori Director.

Montessori Progressive Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Montessori Director with teaching experience to join our team. This is a full-time position and an excellent opportunity to join a program which is known for its diversity and commitment to children and families. We are seeking someone who has strong leadership skills, creates opportunities, and motivates to inspire.

The Montessori Director Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Plan and implement professional development for teachers
  • Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Monthly Reports to the Board of Directors
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
  • Parental Communication and Involvement
  • Maintain School Schedules
  • Understand and adhere to NYCDOE curriculum (Creative Curriculum)
  • Review lesson plans and provide feedback
  • Implement strategies of best practices to teaching staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
