What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Teacher (P/T) Westport Montessori position at Montessori School?
Westport Montessori is a family-owned childcare facility in the heart of Westport. We are proud to serve our local families and provide a safe learning environment for their children!
We are now hiring a part-time relief teacher for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. We are seeking a patient, energetic, and loving individual who has a passion for Early Childhood Education. Previous experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
- relieve teacher's during their lunch breaks (needs of the business will dictate which classrooms you will be covering during the day)
- ensure safety of all children in your care
- light classroom cleaning
- provide age-appropriate activities
- communicate with parents during pick-up time regarding daily activities
This is a part-time (20-25 hours per week), Monday-Friday, position.
We offer reduced childcare tuition for children of employees. We are closed on weekends and closed on all major holidays, including Christmas Eve and the day after Thanksgiving.
