Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for repairs. This is a crucial role in our body shop department, as you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair needs
- Utilize auto estimating software to generate accurate repair estimates
- Collaborate with customers and insurance adjusters to explain repair processes and costs
- Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Conduct final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of repair orders and customer interactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive repair or body shop estimating is required
- Proficiency in using auto estimating software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and provide precise estimates
