    The MCIU is hiring Substitute Teachers! Our substitutes work throughout Montgomery County in our Early Childhood and Special Education Classes.

    MCIU provides programs and services to early learners and students with disabilities ages 3 to 21 through a variety of federal, state, and local partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in your community and network with school districts throughout Montgomery County. As a substitute with MCIU, you will gain invaluable experience working within a classroom and enriching the lives of our students.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Valid PA Teaching Certification (any concentration) required; Special Education N-12 (new cert Special Education PK-8) preferred
    Daily Rate:
    • Day-to-Day Certified Substitute Teacher* (1 to 20 Days) $160/day**
    • Day-to-Day Certified Substitute Teacher* (Over 20 days) $210/day**
    * Includes Head Start & Pre-K Counts teachers
    **MCIU Retiree Certified Substitute Teachers will receive $20 additional per day

    Location:
    The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit has classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA.
