Family Advocate

### Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Advocate to join our team. As a Family Advocate, you will provide support and assistance to families in need, helping them navigate through various challenges and connect with necessary resources. This role requires a strong background in social work, behavioral health, and experience working with children. ### Duties:

- Provide crisis intervention and support to families facing difficult situations
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs and strengths of families
- Develop individualized service plans to address the unique needs of each family
- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to connect families with necessary resources
- Assist families in accessing childcare services and other support programs
- Provide counseling and guidance to parents on parenting skills and child development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions

### Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children and families in a social services setting
- Knowledge of child protective services and child welfare systems
- Strong crisis management skills
- Excellent communication and understanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
