Summary of Role
Moody’s Analytics is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our agile product teams. An ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and have a eye towards market trends and gaps. Product Managers are highly skilled at executing on strategic initiatives and bringing concepts to reality through a production lifecycle. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for building and enhancing applications in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. The role will focus on providing value through innovative solutions across a suite of modern applications and data delivery systems. You will work closely with a cross functional product development teams consisting of Software engineers, program managers and analysts globally.
Role/Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders, users and technology teams to assess the value, usability and feasibility of new products and features.
Defining Product marketing communications objectives
Own product roadmaps while working with business and technical stakeholders on prioritization. Develop and implement production timelines for product deployments.
Analyze customer needs and market trends.
Drive the execution, of all product lifecycle processes for structured finance analytics products. Includes, Market research, competitor analysis, roadmap planning, requirements development and product launch/deployment.
Assist in the design, documentation, support and maintenance of system products.
Translate Product strategy into use cases and technical requirements for development by engineering teams
Establish relationships with internal partners and clients, with emphasis on the ability to serve as a liaison between stakeholders and end-users.
Present product solutions and new features to a larger audience.

Organized, with the ability to work independently toward project driven deadlines, in person or remote.
Experience prioritizing initiatives based on competing internal and client business needs.
Education and Experience
7 to 10 years of Product Management or product related experience.
Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's) or graduate/second-level degree (e.g. Master's) with an emphasis in financial engineering, computer science, engineering, math, finance, or a related quantitative field preferred.
Proficiency/Experience in at least one coding language such as SQL, Python or other coding languages is required. Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS and Elastic search are preferred.
Working knowledge of financial concepts. Experience in Structured Finance a bonus.
Experience working with Product Delivery teams and software such as JIRA and Confluence.
Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and ability to learn quickly and excel as part of a dynamic team.
