Duties
- Accurately capturing and processing all charge entries.
- Translating patient information into alphanumeric medical codes.
- Submitting statements to insurance companies and working closely with the Insurance Verification team.
- Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims.
- Verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility and ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient's medical records and adhere to all compliance policies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
- Assisting with other clerical tasks and patient care coordination as needed.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work different shifts and on-call duties as needed.
- A patient-focused attitude and exceptional bedside manners.
