What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly / Soldering position at Moore & Associates?
Cutting edge high tech engineering firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler with SMT soldering to join their team.
Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Perform any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations
- Report any quality control issues to supervisor
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Qualification requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years mechanical and or electrical assembly experience may be required with SMT soldering skills / experience
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and properly document the problem
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- Knowledge of the game of Golf and its associated equipment is a plus but not a requirement
Hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
