We are seeking a skilled and passionate decorator to join our team in the custom order bakery. As a decorator , you will be responsible for decorating cupcakes, cakes, and other bakery items for custom personal & corporate orders, holiday market sales, events and weddings. Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during all stages of food preparation
- Collaborate with the team to fulfill orders for special events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and decorating areas
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the food industry
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong decorating skills with the ability to create visually appealing bakery products
- Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are completed on time
- Flexibility to work weekends as required
