Moorefield Construction Inc. has been in business for over 65 years performing commercial construction of large retail centers, theaters and entertainment complexes, casinos, hotels, and a variety of other commercial projects. We are currently looking for experienced Superintendents.
The Superintendent is responsible for managing the day-to-day construction activities, including the supervision of subcontractors to deliver the project on time, on budget, per the plans and specifications, and ensuring top rated quality, while maintaining an intense focus on safety. This role collaborates with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to ensure each project runs smoothly.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the work and progress of subcontractors to ensure contract compliance, quality, and adherence to the project schedule
- Oversee job site safety & compliance with OSHA regulations
- Maintain jobsite awareness for AQMD SWPPP compliance
- Provide and work with a detailed 3-week look ahead schedule on a weekly basis
- Maintain and review punch list process to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner
- Manage close out process and warranty responses with project manager
- Maintain positive relationships with the project owner, the subcontractors, material suppliers, the office and inspectors
- Oversee site conditions to maintain general organization and cleanliness for the project
- Initiate and conduct weekly jobsite meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in hospitality commercial construction for a General Contractor
- Ability to meet tight timelines and deadlines
- Experience managing work crews, equipment utilization, material purchases, and subcontractors
- Demonstrate proficiency in the ability to review and read construction plans, specifications submittals
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Experience utilizing construction management software; Procore is preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification a plus but not required

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
