Service Writer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing service requests, and ensuring the smooth operation of our auto service department. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive experience
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs
- Communicate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide estimates for vehicle repairs and maintenance services
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tire service, auto service management, or as a service technician is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer systems and software applications

Pay: $46,871.63 - $56,447.55 per year
