Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage the quality processes, methods, and management system to ensure materials that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations based upon a broad scope of experience.  Ensure that these quality processes, methods, and management system meet or exceed the requirements of our ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 Certifications and are consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and quality goals. Perform roles and responsibilities in accordance with direction from the Quality Manager.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

• BS. degree in Material Science or Engineering is required or relevant experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years related broad focused quality experience is required within a manufacturing environment that utilized CNC & Manual Machining, continuous/batch ovens or other green end manufacturing capabilities.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems in an ISO 9001/AS 9100/AS13100 is desired.
• Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean/Six-Sigma Manufacturing techniques is desired.
• Experience with developing/documenting procedures is required.
• Computer proficiency.

• Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company.
• Must have good time management, planning and negotiation skills.
