What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Morgan Dentistry?
We are looking for a reliable Dental Assistant. We have an extremely clean and functional dentist-owned practice in Santa Fe. We have a well established patient base. The new assistant will be responsible for sterilization, set up, disinfection, and chairside assisting. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The assistant ensures smooth running of our dental offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth. Professional level of communication and appearance is necessary
Responsibilities
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Assist other team members whenever necessary
Skills
- Proven experience as an dental assistant.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of dental office management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix.)
- High school diploma
- Dental Assistant Training
- Radiology License (New Mexico)
- CPR
- OSHA training
- Sterilization training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Patients are almost all vaccinated against COVID. As per CDC and state mandated guidelines, employees at healthcare facilities are required to have the COVID vaccination and any current boosters.
