About us:
Queen Bee’s Knees is a part of the Morgan Murphy Media company. We are a family-owned, people first business located in Houghton, MI, and our community is at the core of what we do and who we are. We’re looking for a PT Office/Traffic Assistant to join our radio staff.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide support to the office and traffic department by:
- Helping to scan commercial broadcast schedules for approval
- Checking for current copy for all schedules to air the next day
- Assisting with placement of commercials of our three stations
- Uploading finished logs to automation systems if needed
- Reconciling previous days logs to billing and A/R and reporting errors
- Preparing daily reports for management and corporate management
- Preparing end of month closing of A/R and EOM reports
- Executing end of month invoicing, billing, and mailings
- Handling daily deposits from mail, email, and internet
- Assist with front desk reception by handling phone calls, greeting guests, and distributing prizes during scheduled hours
What You’ll Bring:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in working with desktop/laptop apps
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A great personality when dealing with the public
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital graphic design
- Experience in website design and/or maintenance
