POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Analyst Assistant will join the Executive Services Engagement and Assignment (“ESEA”) Team and work directly with the group on related Salesforce pipeline management and reporting needs. This individual will help to understand key workflows for the group and translate those business process requirements for the Salesforce technical team to develop. They will also work closely with other MSAW groups who rely on much of the same data requirements and have tangential needs to our own, including Sales, Operations, Financial Wellness, Retirement, etc. Besides helping to manage the day-to-day pipeline/analytics for the group this person will help to gather the necessary Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”) and metrics for presentations and reports geared towards senior leadership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:
Understand workflow and reporting needs of ESEA team in order to translate those requirements into Salesforce.com enhancements and reporting/dashboard capabilities.
Work closely with tangential groups within the MSAW organization in order to understand their workflow/reporting needs viz a viz Salesforce in order to ensure potential enhancements are not superfluous or detrimental to the needs of the ESEA team. Ensure all enhancements across these other teams are driving towards the mission of the greater MSAW organization.
Ensure data integrity is maintained by monitoring pipeline accuracy for the team and pointing out duplicative or superfluous accounts and opportunities as uncovered.
Help drive good Salesforce behaviors consistent with the mission of the team.
Perform data manipulation as needed by working with Salesforce data and other datapoints which may be maintained outside of Salesforce such as in Excel.
Assist in the preparation of group Powerpoint presentations to help educate the field and other MSAW work teams about what we do and how we do it. Provide key data points in the preparation of decks for senior leadership.
Train new Salesforce users on Salesforce basics and team workflows in order to ensure a smooth transition to the platform and to minimize mistakes. Provide team support with any knowledge gaps and retrain as needed.
Work closely with Salesforce technical team on making sure business requirements/enhancements are functioning as scoped.
QUALIFICATIONS
Extremely strong Salesforce.com skills around building out business processes, pipeline management, reporting and analytics.
Experience in the wealth management business and understanding B2B offerings, particularly around the stock plan end to end sales process and the related B2B2C reinvestment opportunities.
Strong PowerPoint skills & ability to translate data into effective presentations
Strong Excel skills with ability to manipulate data from various sources
Ability to collaborate and coordinate across different teams, keeping everyone focused and working together
Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Working knowledge of executive services which includes but is not limited to Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, Section 16, restricted stock, Rule 144, and equity compensation.
Polished written and verbal communication skills, and able to effectively interact and influence a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree
