Job Title: Director of Operations - Behavioral Home Care

Job Description: As the Director of Operations for Behavioral Home Care, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the effective delivery of home care services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders (SUDs). You will be responsible for managing the operational and clinical aspects of our home care facility, with a strong focus on Medicare and Medicaid programs. Your role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders, overseeing clinical quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting patient-centered care.
Pay: Greater than $100,000 Benefits
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the provision and supervision of treatment services for individuals with mental health and SUDs.
- Licensure to provide Behavioral Health services in the tri-state area (MD, DO, RN with Advance Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] licensure).
- Board Certification in Psychiatry, psychology, licensed independent social worker [LISW], professional clinical counselor [LPCC], or independent marriage and family therapist [LIMFT]) preferred.
- Residency in the tri-state area preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the activities and performance of our behavioral health home care services, ensuring integration of clinical services and adherence to person-centered care principles.
- Develop and implement initiatives to integrate behavioral health into our home care systems, in alignment with Medicare and Medicaid program requirements.
- Represent our facility effectively to key stakeholders, including government agencies, insurers, and community organizations.
- Lead the implementation of behavioral health initiatives, including crisis intervention programs, to meet the needs of our patient population.
- Collaborate with regional health partners to develop and maintain a comprehensive mental health and substance dependency network.
- Work closely with product leads in Medicare, Commercial, and Medicaid lines to optimize the design and administration of Behavioral Health benefits.
- Strengthen the behavioral health system of care to serve an increasing number of individuals, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and performance measures to support quality improvement and accreditation efforts.
- Provide supervision and support to the Behavioral Health Department staff, promoting professional development and succession planning.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure clinical oversight and quality assurance within the Behavioral Health Department.
- Promote the behavioral health program within the community and psychiatric communities, advocating for managed care and cost-effective care models.
- Develop and report specific quality of care and service measures, striving to meet or exceed performance targets.
