Implementation Consultant

About the role: The Indexes Client Service & Implementation team seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven Indexes Implementation Consultant to help advance our index products globally. This role will interact extensively with clients and sales and lead index data implementation. This role will become an expert in Morningstar’s Index data offering and will work closely with sales, product management, technology and operations. Job responsibilities: Work cross-functionally with various Morningstar teams to manage all aspects of Index implementation Be the subject matter expert on all Indexes delivery channels and options globally, and be able to find the best fit solution for the client Be an escalation point for client issues during implementation, and work with technology to resolve any issues Support business development and product management teams for client meeting preparation Lead qualifying, contracting, and onboarding for Morningstar Indexes data clients Create and maintain indexes data product technical specifications as required. Manage licensing requests for current and potential Morningstar Index Clients Support current and potential clients, especially in product launch collaterals Act as Index expert and project manager for internal implementations of Morningstar Indexes Utilize Morningstar Software to compare our Index offering to competitors as required Provide coverage for client service and pre-sales support as required. Qualifications: At least two (2) or three (3) years of professional work experience, ideally in a client-facing role Strong interpersonal skills, and enjoys building relationship Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing •Work well cross functionally and globally Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of new responsibilities Curious and enjoys problem solving A pro-active and positive attitude and a team player Knowledge of Morningstar Direct and Morningstar Data Nice to have: Technical skills and experience like SQL, Python, AWS, not required but nice to have Pursue CFA, not required but nice to have Interested in financial markets or services, particularly investing Interested in learning more about Indexes and passive investing 001_MstarInc Morningstar Inc.
