Outsourcing Oversight Manager Location: Jersey, Channel Islands About the role You will be responsible for the management of the outsourcing framework between the UK & International Group (JFSC) and the Administration Group (FCA), working closely with our Quality Assurance manager to ensure the continued adherence to policy, procedure, and all applicable regulations. Back-office processes from various departments across the business will be moving to Morningstar India and ensuring the framework is developed and robust is also part of this role. In this role you will Work closely with the Compliance team, to ensure clients are protected, while developing an efficient, scalable business model with our UK teams, who will manage the administration under this framework. Mapping of all activities in collaboration with the Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to establish which of those can be outsourced under the JFSC Codes of Practice A review of the current Outsourcing Agreement, ensuring that it is fit-for-purpose and is amended to appropriately cover all activities and scenarios Maintain adequate business resumption, disaster recovery and contingency arrangements and ensuring that these are tested regularly Ensure adequate systems and controls are maintained to guard against involvement in financial crime You will develop a framework for outsourcing all remaining administration tasks and form part of the regulatory Span of Control. Ensure adequate testing takes place of those systems and controls, as delegated to the Compliance Officer/Money Laundering Compliance Officer What you need to be successful A background in operational risk, outsourcing risk, or developing policy and control frameworks in a financial services business. Have a clear understanding of the regulatory framework within Jersey Strong communications skills with the ability to articulate Excellent relationship management skills Organised with good attention to detail Knowledge of investment platforms, products, and tax wrappers would be a bonus!
