Character of Position
As an Accounting Specialist, you will assist the accounting department with various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Entering vouchers for payments
- Matching packing slips to invoices
- Assisting vendors with questions
- Maintaining A/P files
- Bank deposits
- Cash application
- Processing credit card payments
- Providing invoice copies to customers
- Maintaining A/R files
Skills
- Professional communication in person and by phone and email with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
- Problem solving
- Self management skills including taking notes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail
Education
- High School Diploma
- Technical or vocational
- 2 year degree preferred
Experience
- 3 years experience
- General Ledger experience a plus
