We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and functioning of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and HVAC systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues before they escalate.
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility-related problems, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Assist in setting up and dismantling facilities for events or special functions.
Conduct preventative maintenance to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational training in facilities maintenance is a plus.
Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to facilities maintenance.
