Morrison Express is looking for a Tender Management Analyst to join our Sales Support team. This position can be located in El Segundo, CA, Seattle, WA, Phoenix, AZ, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Boston, MA, Columbus, OH, Miami, FL, Atlanta, GA, El Paso, TX, or Dallas, TX.
Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt Position, working a Hybrid schedule, working in office 3 days per week and from home 2 days per week after training. Must be able to work flexible hours to manage RFQs with colleagues in other time zones and to meet client deadlines.
As the Tender Management Analyst, you will support our sales team by acting as the single point of contact for each RFQ. You will analyze and qualify all RFQ submissions, gain an understanding of the requests, and develop the client submission.
We are looking for a proactive, big picture thinker, who is adaptable to learning the Morrison way. You will have experience working with Excel, analyzing and transferring large amounts of data, and using formulas. Experience working in pricing role with a freight forwarder is ideal.

What You Will Be Doing in Your Day to Day:
- For RFQs, act as the single point of contact and communication, to the sales team, and execute each bid according to the Tender Management process
- Analyze and qualify all client RFQ submissions and create internal Excel templates
- Analyze and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary requirements, specifications and costs
- Complete transactional air and ocean pricing requests, spot quotes
- Review and understand client rate requests
- Develop the client submission response by collecting and entering data using Excel formulas
- Provide ongoing daily management of the tender process (including but not limited to, client Q&As, supporting regional bids, reviewing responses)
- Work on special projects and reports as needed
What We Look for in Our Teammates:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the freight forwarding industry and 2 years’ experience in pricing in freight forwarding.
- Experience in air or ocean freight forwarding operations preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage and prioritize work load, manage a mix of issues, responsibilities and challenges.
- Must be proactive, have the ability to see the big picture, and be adaptable.
- High attention to detail and is important to the success of this role.
- Intermediate Excel experience required. Must be able to analyze and transfer large amount of data between Excel files using formulas.
- Willingness to learn and work closely with others to identify needs, problem solve, and create solutions to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.
