What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Morrow Enterprises, Inc.?
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to be responsible for coordination, scheduling of subcontractors and to handle project specific paperwork. Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all heavy civil construction procedures and able to successfully execute the position.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling Subcontractor commencement and communication with them throughout the project
- Communicate and work with project Superintendent and Senior PM.
- Collaborate with inspectors, engineers, architects etc. during site visits and as needed.
- Determine needed resources if needed (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish and communicate back to Senior PM.
- Gather and maintain production quantities for billing.
- Complete Project Specific Paperwork as needed.
- Enter data and manage Project Management Software
Skills
- Proven experience as construction project manager in heavy civil construction
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office such as excel and word
- Ability to send emails, organize and send electronic files.
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Completing tasks ahead of schedule to avoid delays
- Ability to identify and anticipate possible issues on site and communicate with PM to eliminate project delays
- A team player with leadership abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
