PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for sizing and cutting metal studs, installing tracks and walls, and finishing with drywall.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Measure, cut and install metal framing members which includes but not limited to concrete, structural steel, wood, etc.
• Finish drywall by installing corner bead, taping and finishing joints, penetrations and patches to reach the required level of finish with drywall compound and the necessary tool.
• Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and / or conex’s, per plan
• Assist journeyman and foreman
• All other duties as assigned
• Cooperate with others when in a team environment
• Accept direction from supervisors
• Follow work rules and procedures
• Punctual and consistent attendance

A. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

A. Minimum 2 years of related experience
